Job Title: Fiber Splicer Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fiber Splicer Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fiber optic cable splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure reliable network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform fiber optic cable splicing for aerial, underground, and indoor networks.
* Conduct OTDR and power meter testing to verify fiber quality.
* Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic faults.
* Read and interpret fiber network drawings and splice diagrams.
* Install and maintain fiber optic closures, patch panels, and distribution boxes.
* Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
* Prepare daily work reports and documentation.
Requirements:
* Experience in fiber optic splicing and testing.
* Knowledge of OTDR, fusion splicing, and fiber testing equipment.
* Ability to read network layouts and engineering drawings.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driving license (preferred).
* Willingness to travel and work in the field.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications in fiber optics are an advantage.
