Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Review Requests for Quotes (RFQs), client blueprints, or technical specifications to understand exactly what the customer needs.
- Cost Estimation & Pricing: Calculate material, labor, logistics, and overhead costs. Apply pricing models to guarantee competitive yet profitable quotes.
- Documentation & Drafting: Prepare professional commercial and technical quotation documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), service briefs, and terms of delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, and Engineering teams to verify product availability and secure accurate supplier costs.
- Client Follow-ups: Manage revisions based on customer feedback, address technical inquiries, and track quote statuses (win/loss ratios) to improve future bids.
- Record Keeping: Archive quote data, maintain pricing databases, and process proforma invoices and purchase orders. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Core Requirements & Qualifications
- Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical documents or schematics.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (or specialized estimating software) and CRM systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client correspondence and vendor negotiations.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
