Job Description:
Area Sales Manager in the FMCG sector is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a specific geographic area, working to maximize sales performance and market penetration. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Implementing strategic sales plans and building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to meet objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Identifying and resolving customer issues and complaints.
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
- Providing periodic sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
