Key Responsibilities Lead Quality Control laboratory operations for raw milk, ingredients, packaging material, in-process and finished products. Approve or reject raw materials and finished goods based on specifications. Authorize product release and Certificate of Analysis (COA). Ensure compliance with FSSAI, BIS, Agmark, EIC, Halal, Kosher, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, ISO/FSSC 22000 and customer requirements. Lead CAPA, Root Cause Analysis and non-conformance investigations. Manage calibration, method validation, reference standards and laboratory equipment. Ensure environmental monitoring, CIP verification, hygiene and pest control effectiveness. Drive supplier quality assurance, supplier audits and vendor performance reviews. Lead customer complaints, product recall preparedness, mock recalls and traceability exercises. Monitor SAP quality transactions, inventory accuracy and digital quality records. Support R&D in new product development and shelf-life validation. Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits. Develop competency matrices, annual training plans and food safety culture initiatives. Lead Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects. Control laboratory budget, reagent consumption and testing costs. Authorities Stop production in case of food safety risk. Reject non-conforming raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. Approve product release and COA. Approve QC SOPs, specifications and laboratory methods. Approve laboratory consumables and calibration schedules.
