Role Purpose
The Lead Analyst – Business Modeling & Strategy will support the development and execution of blue ammonia projects by leading financial, commercial, and strategic analyses. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining integrated business models covering the entire blue ammonia value chain, including natural gas sourcing, hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, carbon capture and storage (CCS), logistics, and end-market commercialization.
The position will play a critical role in supporting project development, investment decisions, partnership evaluations, financing activities, and long-term business planning for low-carbon ammonia projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated financial and economic models for blue ammonia projects, incorporating feedstock costs, plant performance, CCS economics, logistics, shipping, and market pricing assumptions.
- Support project development activities through business case preparation, investment appraisals, and commercial feasibility assessments.
- Evaluate project economics under various market scenarios, including changes in natural gas prices, carbon pricing mechanisms, ammonia market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
- Perform sensitivity analyses and risk assessments to identify key value drivers and project risks.
- Support negotiations and commercial evaluations related to feedstock supply, offtake agreements, CO₂ transport and storage arrangements, and strategic partnerships.
- Monitor global blue ammonia, hydrogen, carbon capture, and low-carbon fuel markets, identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive developments.
- Conduct market analysis for key demand sectors including power generation, marine fuels, industrial decarbonization, and hydrogen imports.
- Support debt and equity financing activities by preparing financial models, lender presentations, and investment materials.
- Collaborate closely with technical, commercial, project development, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment between technical assumptions and commercial outcomes.
- Prepare strategic recommendations and presentations for executive management, shareholders, lenders, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in project finance, corporate strategy, investment analysis, management consulting, energy economics, or project development.
- Demonstrated experience in ammonia, hydrogen, LNG, natural gas, petrochemicals, carbon capture and storage (CCS), or energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting large-scale capital projects and project financing activities is highly desirable.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
