Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT English Teacher to teach students of Classes VI–X. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing students' language proficiency, literary appreciation, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities through engaging and effective classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
Teach grammar, literature, reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary, and spoken English.
Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
Assess student performance through tests, projects, assignments, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback and support students in achieving academic goals.
Foster reading habits, creative writing, public speaking, and communication skills.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Utilize digital tools, smart classroom technologies, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Prepare students for school examinations, competitions, debates, elocution, and literary activities.
Maintain academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in English / English Literature from a recognized university.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) mandatory.
Master's Degree in English will be an added advantage.
Experience 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/State Board school preferred.
Experience teaching middle and secondary grades (VI–X).
Skills & Competencies Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh (Kakinada): Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
