Job Summary:
The EHS Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring Environment, Health, and Safety policies to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, operations of the ETP and company standards. The role focuses on creating a safe workplace, preventing accidents, conducting safety training, ensuring environmental compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Management
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare investigation reports.
- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- To monitor & optimize effluent treatment plant operations &processes consisted of primary, secondary, tertiary treatment followed by a ZLD unit (PTRO-Evaporator-Dryer).
- Maintain strict compliance with the pollution control norms.
- Overseeing manpower management, dosing chemical inventory and troubleshooting malfunctions to prevent environmental violation & costly downtime.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, State Factory Rules, Fire Safety Rules, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain all statutory registers, records, and licenses related to EHS.
- Coordinate with government authorities during inspections and audits.
- Ensure timely renewal of statutory approvals and certifications.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS induction programs for new employees and contractors.
- Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
- Conduct mock drills for fire, evacuation, and emergency response.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Environmental Management
- Monitor waste management practices and disposal of hazardous waste.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor air, water, and noise pollution parameters.
- Promote energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Ensure fire-fighting equipment is inspected and maintained.
- Coordinate emergency drills and evaluate preparedness.
- Maintain first-aid facilities and emergency response teams.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain EHS records, reports, permits, and compliance documents.
- Prepare monthly EHS reports and KPI dashboards.
- Maintain incident statistics and safety performance reports.
- Support internal and external EHS audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering/Science.
- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Occupational Health & Safety.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in EHS & ETP operations within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Experience in handling statutory compliance, safety audits, and emergency response.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws and statutory compliance.
- Understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Knowledge of fire safety, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to conduct safety training programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.

Pay: ₹275,392.53 - ₹1,400,237.99 per year
