The Role
You'll own the day-to-day execution of Skyloov's SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and off-page work. In a property portal, SEO is deeply technical — thousands of listing, location, community, and category pages that must be crawlable, correctly indexed, and structured for search. You'll work closely with our development team (via Jira) and marketing team to improve rankings, organic traffic, and lead quality, backing every recommendation with data.
Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO
* Audit and maintain site health: crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, robots.txt, and pagination across large numbers of listing and location pages.
* Implement and maintain structured data / schema (RealEstateListing, Organization, Breadcrumb, FAQ, etc.).
* Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page performance in coordination with developers.
* Translate SEO fixes into clear, prioritized Jira tickets and follow them through to verified completion.
On-Page & Content SEO
* Build and refine keyword strategy for property types, communities, and locations relevant to the UAE market.
* Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and URL structures at scale.
* Partner with content/marketing on landing pages and area/community guides that rank and convert.
* Understand and be up-to-date with the real-estate industry news, developments and write blog posts on the portal for SEO purposes.
* Identify use of AI based tools (including Claude skills) to get deeper insights and also to improve ranking on AI Search – Google AI, Claude, ChatGPT.
Off-Page SEO
* Plan and execute link-building and digital PR aligned with UAE real estate.
* Monitor backlink profile, disavow toxic links, and track domain authority.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track rankings, organic traffic, indexation, and conversions using GSC, GA4, and third-party tools.
* Deliver clear, data-backed weekly/monthly reports showing what was done, the measurable impact, and next priorities.
Requirements
* 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally including a portal, marketplace, or large content-heavy website.
* Strong technical SEO knowledge: canonicals, indexation control, site architecture, schema, log-file basics, and Core Web Vitals.
* Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one of Ahrefs / SEMrush, plus Screaming Frog.
* Comfort collaborating with developers and writing precise, actionable tickets (Jira experience a plus).
* Solid understanding of how Google indexes and ranks large, template-driven sites.
* Excellent written English and a transparent, self-documenting working style — you show your work and your results.
Nice to Have
* Prior experience with real estate, property, or classifieds/portal SEO.
* Familiarity with the UAE / GCC market or multi-region SEO.
* Basic HTML/JS understanding of how technical changes are implemented.
* Experience with programmatic SEO for large sets of location/category pages.
