Education and Experience Requirements
ITI = NCVT certification in Machinist/Turner trade.
Experience – 0 to 2 years
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate machining tools like lathe, milling, shaping, and grinding machines as per instructions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints to produce components.
- Assist in assembling mechanical parts used in electrical & electronics systems and machinery.
- Support production and maintenance teams by machining precision parts and tools.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of machines and tools before use.
- Ensure machining quality by measuring dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other
gauges.
- Should be able to do tooling validation and record specifications as per drawing of the tool / fixture
(this involves measurement of tooling/ fixture dimensions as per drawing and subsequently
product level parameters)
- Maintain clean and safe work areas as per 5S and workplace safety standards.
- Support in tool setting, calibration, and machine setup for different machining jobs.
