Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Project Manager / Site Head to independently handle complete day-to-day operations at construction sites. The candidate will act as the primary person in charge of site execution and coordination, while directly reporting to the developer’s office and management.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of construction execution, contractor management, labour handling, inventory control, and overall site administration. The candidate should be capable of managing pressure situations, resolving on-site issues efficiently, and ensuring smooth project execution within timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Handle complete day-to-day operations of the assigned construction site.
- Coordinate and manage all contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, and vendors.
- Supervise Site Engineers, Junior Engineers, supervisors, and supporting staff.
- Ensure work execution as per drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Monitor RCC work, finishing work, masonry, waterproofing, and all civil activities.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and workflow across the site.
- Coordinate directly with the developer’s office and provide regular progress updates.
- Handle all site-related issues, execution challenges, and operational coordination.
- Manage incoming material deliveries, stock verification, and inventory records.
- Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage and leakage at site.
- Verify work progress, labour deployment, and contractor performance on a daily basis.
- Maintain daily reports related to labour, material consumption, site progress, and inventory.
- Ensure safety standards and site compliance are properly maintained.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, and external agencies whenever required.
- Ensure timely completion of work and maintain project schedules.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 4–8 years of practical site execution and project handling experience.
- Strong understanding of RCC, finishing, and overall site execution.
- Experience in handling multiple contractors and labour teams.
- Ability to independently manage an active construction site.
- Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and reporting systems preferred.
- Candidate should be practical, disciplined, and capable of handling site pressure effectively.
Preferred
- Candidates with residential project experience will be preferred.
- Immediate joining preferred.
- Local candidates from nearby regions preferred.
