Position - Dispatch Supervisor
Department - Dispatch / Logistics
Reporting To - Factory Manager / Operations Head
Job Purpose
To manage the complete dispatch function, ensuring on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, manpower supervision, vehicle planning, documentation compliance, and efficient coordination between Production, Stores, Quality, Sales, and Logistics.
Key ResponsibilitiesDispatch Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch plans.
- Prioritize dispatches according to customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure adherence to OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery targets.
Team Management
- Supervise Dispatch Executives, Loading Staff, and Helpers.
- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
- Train team members on dispatch procedures and safety.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to SOPs.
Documentation & Compliance
- Verify Delivery Challans, Invoices, Packing Lists, E-Way Bills, and transport documents.
- Ensure statutory compliance in all dispatches.
- Maintain complete dispatch records for audit purposes.
Inventory Control
- Monitor finished goods inventory.
- Ensure stock accuracy and traceability.
- Coordinate with Stores for stock reconciliation.
- Participate in monthly and annual stock audits.
Logistics Management
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability.
- Optimize freight and vehicle utilization.
- Monitor vehicle turnaround time.
- Resolve transportation issues and delivery delays.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure only QA-approved material is dispatched.
- Verify product specifications, grades, coatings, packing standards, and customer requirements.
- Minimize dispatch errors and customer complaints.
KPI Monitoring
Monitor and improve:
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)

- Ensure safe loading and unloading practices.

Qualification
- Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Commerce.
Experience
- 5–8 years in dispatch/logistics within a manufacturing environment, preferably in fasteners, steel, engineering components, or automotive industries, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
** Fasteners, Nut Bolt industry experience is needed
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
