- Responsibilities: Audiometrists are responsible for administering hearing tests, interpreting results, and fitting hearing aids. They work closely with patients to assess their hearing abilities and provide necessary interventions to improve their quality of life wsma.org+1.
- Duties:
- Conduct audiometric screenings and threshold tests, such as pure-tone air conduction tests.
- Document patient history and test results accurately.
- Identify the type and degree of hearing loss in patients.

- Collaboration: They often work under the supervision of audiologists or otolaryngologists and refer patients for further evaluation when necessary
