Position: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Kerala, India
Role Summary
The Territory Sales Manager for V S Timbers will play a critical role in driving sales, expanding the customer base, and ensuring consistent engagement with key stakeholders within their designated zone. This position focuses primarily on B2B operations while supporting B2C activities. The Territory Sales Manager will help retail partners increase sales in their area, build trust in the brand, and foster strong relationships with key influencers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Account Management:
- Manage and nurture existing key accounts to ensure long-term partnerships within the assigned area.
- Identify and on board new clients to expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets specific to the designated zone.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
Market Analysis and Strategy
- Conduct regular market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the assigned area.
- Develop and propose area-specific market penetration strategies to enhance brand presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align area sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Customer Engagement
- Plan and execute customer engagement activities to build loyalty and trust.
- Organize and participate in influencer meetings to highlight brand's offerings.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with stakeholders such as architects, fabricators, retailers, and sawmills to maintain strong relationships.
- Support retail partners in increasing sales and improving brand trust.
Promotional Activities
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and implement promotional campaigns in the assigned area.
- Coordinate with influencers to increase brand visibility and sales.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to represent the brand in the area.
Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, including performance metrics and market insights specific to the assigned zone.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Sales Revenue
Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
2. Customer Acquisition
Number of new key accounts added within the area.
3. Customer Retention
Retention rate and repeat business from key accounts in the zone.
4. Market Penetration
Execution and effectiveness of area-specific market strategies.
5. Influencer Engagement
Number and quality of engagements with architects, fabricators, retailers, and sawmills.
6. Retail Support
Sales growth and feedback from retail partners in the assigned zone.
7. Reporting Accuracy
Timely and precise submission of area-specific sales reports and market analyses.
8. Promotional Activities:
Effectiveness of campaigns and activities in driving brand visibility and sales in the zone.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the wood or construction materials industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and strategy development.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office tools.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
