We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Snowpark to join our data engineering team. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data transformations, and enabling advanced analytics using the Snowflake Data Cloud and Snowpark.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark
Build data engineering and data science workflows using the Snowpark Python API
Execute advanced data transformation, modeling, and optimization to support analytics and reporting
Optimize warehouse usage and query performance for cost-efficiency
Integrate with Azure data services for ingestion, orchestration, and observability
Implement data governance, quality, and security best practices within Snowflake

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake development and administration
Expert-level skills in SQL for complex queries and transformations
Proficient in Python, especially within the Snowpark environment
Experience designing ELT/ETL pipelines in a cloud data architecture
Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) preferred
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or dbt preferred
Knowledge of RBAC (role-based access control) and data security in Snowflake preferred
Snowflake certifications and working knowledge of dbt are strong advantages
