We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer cum Draftsman to support both design development and production coordination. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, creating cutting lists, coordinating with clients, and ensuring production teams clearly understand project requirements for smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed interior and furniture shop drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Develop production drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications.
- Interpret design concepts and convert them into manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Meet and communicate with clients to understand requirements and explain design proposals.
- Coordinate between clients, designers, and production teams.
- Provide clear instructions and technical support to production workers and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and resolve design or production-related issues.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, and production details.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting standards.
- Knowledge of interior design principles and furniture manufacturing.
- Ability to prepare cutting lists and production documents.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Good understanding of materials, hardware, and construction methods.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in interior fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or drafting is preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in interior design, drafting, or production coordination.
Role Summary
The Interior Designer cum Draftsman will act as a link between clients, design teams, and production staff by preparing accurate drawings, communicating project requirements, generating cutting lists, and ensuring smooth execution of interior and furniture projects.
Pay: ₹10,773.10 - ₹30,000.00 per month
