EHS Billing is responsible for overseeing end-to-end billing operations related to EHS (Employees' Health Scheme/Employee Health Services or organization-specific EHS billing), ensuring accurate billing, timely claim submission, payment reconciliation, statutory compliance, and effective coordination with internal departments and corporate clients. The role also focuses on minimizing revenue leakage, improving billing efficiency, and leading the billing team.
- Manage end-to-end EHS billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timely invoice generation.
- Supervise the EHS billing team and monitor daily productivity and turnaround time.
- Verify patient eligibility, approvals, billing documentation, and supporting records before claim submission.
- Coordinate with HR, Corporate Relations, Finance, Medical Records, and clinical departments for smooth billing processes.
- Ensure timely submission of claims, invoices, and supporting documents to corporate organizations/EHS authorities.
- Monitor outstanding payments, follow up on pending claims, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Identify and prevent revenue leakage through regular billing audits.
- Review billing reports, ageing reports, collection status, and daily MIS.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, contractual agreements, and applicable billing regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate billing executives to improve operational efficiency.
- Handle escalated billing queries from patients, corporates, and internal stakeholders.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA/MHA is preferred.
