Job Purpose
The HR Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, statutory compliance, training & development, and policy implementation. The role ensures that the organization's workforce is productive, engaged, and compliant with applicable labor laws.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning.
- Manage onboarding and induction programs.
- Build a strong talent pipeline for future hiring.
2. Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work environment.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.
3. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor the performance appraisal system.
- Coordinate goal setting and performance reviews.
- Identify high-potential employees.
- Recommend promotions, transfers, and performance improvement plans.
4. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll inputs and salary administration.
- Ensure timely processing of employee benefits.
- Review compensation structures for market competitiveness.
- Manage leave, attendance, and overtime records.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Prepare annual training calendars.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Monitor employee skill development and career progression.
6. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR.
7. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- PF
- ESI
- Gratuity
- Bonus
- Shops & Establishments Act / Factory Act (as applicable)
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Maternity Benefit Act
- POSH Act
- Contract Labour Regulations
- Coordinate with government authorities and consultants for compliance.
8. HR Operations
- Maintain HRIS and employee databases.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and dashboards.
- Manage employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and manpower reports.
9. Industrial Relations (Manufacturing Environment)
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations.
- Coordinate with labor unions where applicable.
- Handle disciplinary proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with factory regulations and labor laws.
- Support grievance resolution and workforce stability.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or corporate environments is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee relations.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
