ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer to lead interior design projects at our Banashankari showroom. You will manage the design process end-to-end — from client consultation and concept development through to execution — ensuring every project reflects FDC's design standards and client expectations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead client consultations to understand requirements, style preferences, and budgets
- Develop space plans, concept designs, mood boards, and 3D visualisations
- Prepare detailed design proposals, drawings, and BOQs for client approval
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure design intent is delivered
- Oversee project timelines and quality through to final installation and handover
- Mentor and guide junior designers on projects and design standards
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and finishes to keep FDC's offering current
- Liaise with vendors and craftsmen on custom furniture and finishing details REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 4-6+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design range and execution quality
- Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously
- SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max/V-Ray (or equivalent rendering tools)
- Strong eye for space planning, colour, materials, and detailing
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- Ability to manage vendors, timelines, and budgets effectively

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
