About the Role
Vardhaman Group is looking for an experienced Group COO / Business Integrator to take ownership of operations across 6 Companies, 18 F&B Brands and 51+ Stores across Maharashtra.
The person will act as the execution and operations leader for the Group, working closely with the Founder/Management to bring structure, accountability, profitability and standardized systems across all businesses.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in QSR/F&B multi-unit operations, preferably from organizations such as Domino’s, Haldiram’s, Rebel Foods, Wow! Momo, Chaayos, Curefoods, Chai Point, Tea Post or similar high-growth food businesses.
Key Responsibilities1. Group Operations & Business Management
- Take end-to-end ownership of operations across 18 brands and 51+ stores.
- Drive daily operational performance across all companies and business units.
- Ensure execution of business plans, sales targets and profitability goals.
- Establish clear accountability for CEOs, Brand Heads and Operations Teams.
2. Business Audit & Cost Control
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of all brands, stores and business functions.
- Identify revenue leakages, unnecessary expenses, wastage, manpower inefficiencies and operational losses.
- Analyze store-wise and brand-wise P&L, Food Cost, Labour Cost, Purchase, Inventory and Sales.
- Develop corrective action plans for underperforming stores/brands.
- Continuously improve profitability and operational efficiency.
3. SOP & Process Development
- Develop and implement standardized SOPs across all brands.
- Create operational checklists, decision matrices and escalation processes.
- Develop video-based training and operational manuals.
- Ensure SOP compliance through regular audits and reviews.
4. Performance Management
- Set clear KPIs and targets for Company Heads, Brand Heads, Store Managers and Operations Teams.
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly performance review systems.
- Drive strong follow-up and accountability across departments.
- Take timely corrective action against consistent underperformance.
5. MIS & Dashboard
- Build a centralized management dashboard covering:
- Sales
- Food Cost
- Labour Cost
- Gross Margin
- Store Profitability
- Inventory
- Wastage
- Purchase
- Customer Complaints
- Manpower
- Store Performance
- Ensure management receives accurate and actionable reports.
6. People & Cross-Functional Management
- Work closely with HR, Purchase, Finance, Marketing, Production and Operations.
- Identify manpower requirements and improve team productivity.
- Build a strong second line of operational leadership.
- Ensure effective coordination between Head Office, Central Kitchen, Factory and Stores.
7. Expansion & New Store Execution
- Support new store openings and franchise expansion.
- Ensure recruitment, training, procurement, setup and operational readiness before opening.
- Standardize the launch process for all new stores and brands.
First 90-Day Expectations
First 30 Days
- Complete operational audit of all brands/stores.
- Identify major cost leakages and operational gaps.
- Review P&L and performance of every business unit.
- Establish reporting structure and critical KPIs.
31–60 Days
- Implement SOPs and operational dashboards.
- Introduce accountability and review mechanisms.
- Start corrective action plans for weak-performing stores/brands.
- Improve cost and operational controls.
61–90 Days
- Establish a scalable operating system across the Group.
- Improve store and brand profitability.
- Build a strong management reporting system.
- Reduce Founder dependency for day-to-day operations.
Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in QSR/F&B/Restaurant operations.
- Experience managing 30–50+ stores or multi-unit operations.
- Strong understanding of P&L, Food Cost, Labour Cost, Inventory, Purchase and Store Operations.
- Hands-on experience with SOP, MIS, Excel and POS/Petpooja or similar systems.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Highly execution-oriented with excellent follow-up and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable taking difficult business decisions.
- Should be data-driven, disciplined and highly accountable.
- Experience in a fast-growing QSR/F&B organization is strongly preferred.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
