Job Title: Area Business Manager

Base Location: Amritsar, Punjab
Territory: Zirakpur, Amritsar, Pathankot (expandable portfolio)
Role Overview
The Area Business Manager (ABM) will be responsible for driving business performance, operational excellence, and team productivity across multiple retail stores within the assigned region. The role requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and hands-on involvement to ensure stores consistently achieve sales targets, maintain brand standards, and deliver superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Performance & Sales Management
- Monitor and drive sales performance across all assigned stores.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Analyze store-wise performance and identify gaps in conversion, ticket size, and productivity.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve underperforming stores.
2. Store Operations & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to brand SOPs, VM guidelines, and operational standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with company policies, audit norms, and documentation.
- Conduct regular and surprise store audits, including stock audits and process checks.
- Ensure readiness for offers, campaigns, and seasonal business cycles.
3. Team Management & Development
- Build strong relationships with Store Managers and frontline staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback discussions.
- Identify weak performers and implement improvement plans.
- Motivate teams to achieve incentives and business goals.
4. Store Visits & Market Execution
- Conduct frequent visits to all stores in the assigned region.
- Ensure proper execution of in-store activities, promotions, and events.
- Monitor customer experience and service standards on-ground.
- Identify local opportunities to drive footfall and conversions.
5. Planning & Activity Management
- Track and ensure execution of monthly marketing and store-level activities.
- Coordinate with central teams for campaigns and promotions.
- Ensure stores are prepared in advance for upcoming initiatives.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain regular reporting on store performance, issues, and action plans.
- Use data to drive decisions and improve operational efficiency.
- Highlight risks, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in retail operations, preferably in jewellery retail.
- Background: Experience with an organized retail player is highly preferred.
- Education: Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Other Details
- Base Location: Candidate must be based out of Amritsar or willing to relocate.
- Travel: Extensive travel required across Zirakpur, Amritsar, Pathankot, and future locations.
- Allowance: Travel allowance will be provided.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
