Job Purpose
To create accurate and optimized CNC laser cutting programs from engineering drawings, ensuring efficient material utilization, quality output, and timely production while coordinating with planning, design, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files (DXF/DWG), and customer specifications.
- Prepare CNC programs for laser cutting machines using nesting software.
- Optimize nesting to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.
- Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness.
- Generate NC code compatible with laser cutting machines.
- Verify programs through simulation before releasing them to production.
- Coordinate with production planning to prioritize jobs according to delivery schedules.
- Maintain program revisions and document control.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of programs.
- Provide technical support to laser machine operators during production.
- Troubleshoot programming issues and modify programs when required.
- Monitor material consumption and recommend improvements in nesting efficiency.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, and Production departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment (5S).
Pay: ₹359,149.61 - ₹600,000.00 per year
