Job Title: HR Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: General Manager – HR
Location: NSCI, Worli, Mumbai
Job Purpose
To provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department by assisting in recruitment, employee documentation, attendance management, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
· Coordinate interview schedules and candidate communication.
· Assist in recruitment documentation and joining formalities.
Employee Records Management
· Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
· Update employee databases and HRMIS records.
· Ensure confidentiality and proper maintenance of employee information.
Attendance & Leave Administration
· Monitor attendance, shifts, overtime, and leave records.
· Prepare attendance reports for payroll processing.
· Maintain leave records and employee attendance registers.
Employee Relations
· Address routine employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
· Maintain HR notice boards and employee communications.
Compliance & Documentation
· Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
· Maintain HR forms, registers, and documentation.
Exit Management
· Coordinate employee resignation and separation processes.
· Conduct exit formalities and clearance procedures.
· Maintain records of resignations and final settlements.
Administrative Support
· Prepare HR reports, MIS reports, and monthly manpower reports.
· Assist in organizing training programs and staff welfare activities.
· Support the HR team in all departmental functions.
Educational Qualification
· Graduate in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Experience
· 2 to 4 years of experience in HR Operations, Administration, or Employee Relations.
Skills Required
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of HR processes
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under deadlines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Accuracy of employee records.
· Timely completion of recruitment and onboarding activities.
· Attendance and leave management accuracy.
· Compliance with HR documentation requirements.
Salary Range : ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
