About the vertical: The Fundraising, Partnerships, and Communications team plays a critical role in advancing the organization’s vision. The team works at the intersection of strategy, relationship-building, and storytelling — engaging donors, partners, and the wider public to support and amplify our mission.
We develop high-impact fundraising strategies, create compelling communication materials, manage donor relationships, and lead campaigns that inspire support from corporates, institutions, and individuals alike. As a highly collaborative and agile team, we partner closely with leadership and program teams to ensure our fundraising and communication efforts are deeply rooted in the impact we aim to create on the ground.

Role summary:
The Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will lead the development and execution of a strategic fundraising plan to secure diverse funding streams and build lasting relationships with mission-aligned donors. Working closely with the CEO and internal teams, this role drives front-end engagement with donors, manages the full fundraising cycle, and represents the organization at key forums. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator and relationship builder, passionate about mobilizing resources to eradicate malnutrition.
Roles and Responsibilities
This leadership role demands both strategic thinking and operational execution, with a focus on building long-term, mission-aligned donor relationships. Your core responsibilities will include:
Strategic Fundraising & Donor Engagement
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to build and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
- Identify, qualify, and engage mission-aligned donors across multiple channels including CSR, institutional grants, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
- Independently lead front-end conversations with prospective donors, tailoring engagement to meet each donor segment’s unique needs and interests.
- Build and maintain a robust, prequalified donor pipeline to meet year-over-year funding requirements.
Proposal Development & Internal Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop compelling go-to-market proposals tailored to various donor types.
- Ensure alignment between program goals and donor expectations, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Fundraising Operations & Cycle Management
- Own the end-to-end fundraising cycle, from prospecting and outreach to stewardship and renewal.
- Develop and manage internal processes and systems that support efficient fundraising operations and donor tracking.
Representation & Thought Leadership
- Represent the organization at key forums, conferences, and donor events to build visibility and credibility.
- Create and facilitate opportunities for team members to participate and speak at relevant platforms.
Campaign Management & External Communications
- Lead the planning and execution of fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Oversee external communications including social media, ensuring consistent messaging and brand presence across platforms.
Team Management & Creative Oversight
- Manage a cross-functional team of volunteers, consultants, and creatives to produce branding and communication materials such as annual reports, monthly newsletter, pitch decks, and social media content.
- Maintain high standards of quality and alignment with organizational tone and mission in all external communications.

- Relationship Management: Ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships with internal team members,donors and partners.

- Project Management: Capable of managing campaigns, timelines, and deliverables with attention to detail.
- Creativity & Brand Awareness: Understanding of brand consistency and the role of communication in donor engagement.
- Results-Oriented: Focused on outcomes, targets, and creating lasting impact through fundraising efforts.
Mandatory to have:
- At least two years’ experience in fundraising or Business Development at a not-for -profit
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong ownership, accountability and structured thinking
- The ability to plan work, problem solve and meet deadlines independently in an uncertain, fast-paced environment, in a collaborative manner
- An inclination and keen eye for design and thrive in an outward facing role
- Resonate with the cause of women empowerment/public health

Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
