Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Sales Executives to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting walk-in customers, demonstrating product features, providing design guidance, and driving showroom sales. This role demands excellent communication, product knowledge, and a passion for interiors and décor.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, guide, and assist customers entering the showroom; understand their needs and preferences.
- Explain and promote Toshgold’s range of products — plywood, veneers, laminates, flooring, Meta Luxe, etc.
- Demonstrate thorough product knowledge, including materials, finishes, and applications.
- Help customers select suitable products and provide design suggestions or complementary options.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and handle order processing accurately.
- Coordinate with delivery and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain an attractive and organized showroom display — keeping all samples clean, updated, and well-stocked.
- Track and maintain inventory of samples and display materials.
- Work proactively to achieve monthly sales targets and upsell related interior/decor products.
- Follow up with potential leads and maintain good post-sale customer relationships.
- Handle payment collection and documentation as per company policy.
- Provide daily sales reports and customer feedback to the Showroom Manager or designated superior.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Minimum: High School pass
- Preferred: Diploma or certification in Sales, Retail Management, or Interior Design
Experience
- Prior experience in retail / showroom sales preferred
- Experience with home décor, furniture, or interior materials is an added advantage
Communication
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Bengali (or local language)
- Ability to interact confidently and courteously with customers
Customer Service & Presentation
- Friendly, patient, and service-oriented approach
- Neat, professional appearance and attention to showroom presentation
Technical Skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, billing software, quotation entry)
Attitude & Work Ethic
- Goal-oriented, proactive, honest, and reliable
- Comfortable working under sales targets and time constraints
- Physically fit to stand for long hours and manage showroom samples or displays
