Job Title: Sales Executive – Extrusion & Paper Industry
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Director
Work Location: In-person, field-based, with travel across Mumbai and outskirts
Job Summary The Sales Executive will generate new business, manage relationships with existing clients, and promote the company's extrusion coatings, laminates, and paper packaging products. The role involves understanding customer needs, proposing suitable product solutions, and meeting sales targets within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business in the extrusion, packaging, and paper industries
- Promote and sell extrusion-coated paper, laminates, barrier packaging materials, and specialty papers
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, converters, and packaging manufacturers
- Conduct customer visits and product presentations, including technical specifications where required
- Coordinate with production and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and quality
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, and market feedback for management
- Track market trends and competitor activity
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Packaging Technology, or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience in paper, flexible packaging, extrusion coating, or related manufacturing industries
- (If open to other sales backgrounds, state separately, e.g.: "Candidates with strong B2B field sales experience in other industries, such as insurance or retail, will also be considered, provided they show willingness to learn technical product knowledge.")
Skills Required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of packaging materials, paper grades, and extrusion processes (or demonstrated ability to learn quickly)
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and market development
- Own two-wheeler/vehicle preferred (if applicable)
