Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SMO Specialist who can develop, execute, and optimize social media strategies to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, website traffic, and travel bookings. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing social media campaigns, creating engaging content, analyzing performance, and staying ahead of digital trends.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
- Manage and grow PanJourney's presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Create and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Publish engaging posts, reels, stories, carousels, and short-form videos.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Content Creation
- Develop compelling captions, travel-related content, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with designers and video editors to create visually appealing content.
- Create engaging content around destinations, hotels, travel tips, offers, and customer stories.
- Stay updated with trending formats, hashtags, and social media best practices.
Community Management
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Build relationships with followers and encourage user-generated content.
- Monitor brand mentions and maintain a positive online reputation.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute organic social media campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Support influencer collaborations and partnership campaigns.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and campaign performance.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Optimize content based on insights and audience behavior.
- Monitor competitors and identify new growth opportunities.
Required Skills
- 1–4 years of experience in Social Media Optimization or Social Media Marketing.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and social media dashboards.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing.
- Experience with influencer marketing and online community building.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or other content creation platforms.
- Basic photo and video editing skills.
- Understanding of paid social media advertising is an added advantage.
