The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the dealership’s finance and insurance operations, ensuring smooth vehicle loan processing, insurance sales, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation. The role requires strong coordination with customers, sales teams, and banking partners to maximize finance penetration and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Operations
- Manage end-to-end vehicle finance process from customer application to loan disbursement.
- Coordinate with banks and NBFCs such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Bajaj Finance for loan approvals.
- Explain finance schemes, EMI options, and interest rates to customers.
- Ensure timely processing and closure of finance cases.
Insurance & Product Sales
- Sell motor insurance, renewals, extended warranty, RSA, and other value-added products.
- Achieve finance and insurance revenue targets.
- Increase product penetration per vehicle sale.
Customer Handling
- Provide excellent customer service during the finance process.
- Resolve customer concerns related to loan approval, documentation, and repayments.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Documentation & Compliance
- Verify KYC and financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with company SOP and financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and internal review.
Banking Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with banking and finance partners.
- Negotiate better finance schemes and incentive structures.
- Monitor lender turnaround times and approval ratios.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily/monthly finance performance reports.
- Track:

- Revenue per Retail
- Bank-wise Performance
Team Coordination
- Work closely with sales consultants and insurance teams.
- Train sales staff on current finance offers and documentation requirements.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of automobile finance and insurance products

- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
Qualification
- MBA (Finance/Marketing) preferred
- Graduate / B.Com / M.Com
Experience
- 3–7 years in automobile dealership finance preferred
- Experience with brands like Tata Motors, Kia India, Maruti Suzuki, or Hyundai Motor India preferred
