Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the quality of automotive components by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of automotive components.
- Ensure products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and process defects and take corrective action.
- Perform root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and 8D.
- Implement CAPA and monitor its effectiveness.
- Conduct process and product quality audits.
- Prepare inspection reports and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA activities.
- Handle customer complaints and support timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and defect-prevention initiatives.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automotive component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools.
- Basic knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
- Root Cause Analysis and CAPA knowledge.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer.
- Basic knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and Control Plan.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic MS Excel knowledge.
Preferred Experience
Experience in automotive OEM / Tier-1 / Tier-2 auto-component manufacturing will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
