Role Overview
Fortis Global Advisors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced and analytical Senior US Accountants to join its growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in US Accounting, hands-on exposure to accounting review, and the ability to manage and guide team members effectively.
Candidates with knowledge or practical exposure to AI and automation in accounting processes will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review day-to-day US accounting activities.
- Review financial records, accounting entries, reconciliations, and related work prepared by team members.
- Ensure accounting work is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable processes and standards.
- Perform detailed analytical reviews and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities.
- Handle and guide team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments.
- Support process improvements and contribute to greater efficiency within accounting operations.
- Explore and utilize AI and automation tools to improve accounting workflows and productivity.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and support timely completion of accounting deliverables.
Required Experience & Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in US Accounting.
- Strong accounting review experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prior team handling or team management experience is mandatory.
- Good understanding of accounting processes and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Exposure to AI automation and technology-enabled accounting processes is desirable.
