We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Business Head (Chief Operating Officer - COO) to lead and scale our rapidly expanding Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and retail business. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing multi-unit restaurant operations, driving profitability, building high-performing teams, and executing business growth strategies.
Candidates with experience in leading QSR brands such as Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, or other reputed restaurant chains will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end retail and QSR business operations across multiple outlets.
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and expansion goals.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing SOPs, quality standards, and customer service benchmarks.
- Monitor P&L, budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and business performance.
- Build, mentor, and manage Operations Managers, Area Managers, Store Managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, safety, and compliance across all locations.
- Analyze business data, KPIs, and market trends to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Production teams for business growth.
- Lead new store openings, market expansion, and process standardization.
- Develop performance management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Retail or QSR operations.
- Proven experience in managing multiple restaurant outlets or retail chains.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and operational decision-making abilities.
- Experience in scaling businesses and improving profitability.
