Role Description The Chef at Rana ji ka Dhaba will be responsible for planning and preparing daily menus, cooking a variety of dishes, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. Day-to-day tasks include food preparation, supervising the kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, managing inventory, and coordinating timely service during peak hours. The Chef will also monitor food safety practices, minimize waste, and collaborate with the management team to introduce new items and seasonal specials. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nurpur, requiring presence during core operating hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
Strong cooking skills with experience in traditional dhaba-style or regional Indian cuisine.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and basic kitchen sanitation standards.
Ability to manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and coordination with serving staff.
Experience in menu planning, portion control, and maintaining consistency in taste and quality.
Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with staff and management.
Prior experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, dhaba, or similar food service setting preferred.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
