Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE)

About the Role
Applination Softech is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive business growth through government and corporate sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT marketing, government tenders, client acquisition, and relationship management. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing tender participation, and achieving sales targets for the company's IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Government Departments, PSUs, Educational Institutions, and Corporate Organizations.
- Generate leads through networking, field visits, references, online portals, and direct marketing activities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and submit business proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Government Tender Management
- Monitor government tender portals such as GeM, e-Procurement portals, and other tender websites.
- Analyze tender requirements and coordinate with internal teams for documentation and bid submission.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender documents.
- Follow up with government departments regarding tender status, approvals, and order finalization.
- Maintain records of tender submissions and outcomes.
IT Marketing & Client Acquisition
- Promote the company's IT solutions, software products, web applications, mobile applications, ERP systems, and digital services.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging business opportunities.
- Develop strategies for lead generation and market expansion.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client concerns.
- Support contract negotiations and order closures.
- Generate repeat business and long-term client engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 1.5 to 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, IT Marketing, or Government Sales.
- Experience in handling Government Tenders, GeM Portal, and e-Tendering processes.
- Experience in dealing with Government Offices, Departments, Educational Institutions, or PSUs.
- Good understanding of IT products, software solutions, and technology services.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Government Procurement Processes and Tender Documentation.
- Lead generation and client acquisition capabilities.
- Ability to prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT Marketing and Software Sales.
- Knowledge of GeM Portal, CPPP, and State Government e-Tender Portals.
- Existing network within Government Departments and Institutions.
- Understanding of ERP, Software Development, Mobile Applications, Website Development, and Digital Solutions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified leads generated.

- Revenue generated from government and corporate sales.

Salary: As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Joining: Immediate / As per availability.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
