Front Desk & Patient Handling
- Greet patients, attendants, and visitors politely and professionally.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately.
- Guide patients regarding departments, doctors, procedures, and services.
- Manage patient flow to minimize waiting time.
Appointment & Coordination
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, and other departments.
- Handle emergency cases promptly by informing the concerned team.
Billing & Documentation
- Generate OPD slips, invoices, and receipts as per hospital policy.
- Collect payments and ensure proper cash/card handling.
- Maintain daily cash reports and hand over to accounts as required.
- Ensure accuracy of patient files, consent forms, and identification documents.
Communication & Records
- Attend incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Maintain appointment registers, patient logs, and MIS reports.
- Handle patient queries, complaints, and feedback with empathy.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information (HIPAA/medical ethics compliance).
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience as a receptionist/front desk executive in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setup.
