Hyperworks Imaging is a cutting-edge technology company based out of Bengaluru,
India since 2016. Our team uses the latest advances in deep learning and multi-modal
machine learning techniques to solve diverse real world problems. We are rapidly
growing, working with multiple companies around the world.
Job Description:
We're building a product where agents plan, call tools, and act across many
integrations, with users interacting in real time. We need a software developer intern
who helps in creating the software — frontend, backend, the agent/data layer, and
infrastructure — and raises the engineering bar across the company.
You'll write some part of the hardest code yourself, under a technical direction, and be
part of a small team, stepping into project and people leadership when a workstream
needs it without leaving the codebase. A core part of the job is turning the work of
AI/ML and other specialists into fast, reliable, production-grade products: you build the
platform they plug into.
Technical Requirements
Frontend
TypeScript, React JS, TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux Vite or Next.js.
Tailwind (or equivalent)
SSE/WebSocket, token/stream handling for LLM output.
Backend
FastAPI (or Django/Flask), Node.js + TypeScript (Express/Nest/Hono).
REST and/or GraphQL API, OAuth2/JWT auth and role-based access controls
Celery, Redis, or other durable-execution runtimes
AI / Agent layer
prompting, streaming responses, tool/function calling, token-budget management
LangGraph or LangChain (or a hand-rolled agent loop) — multi-step workflows,
state persistence, and tool registries (incl. MCP-style).
RAG and vector stores (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or similar)
LangSmith/Phoenix/OpenTelemetry Data
Relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent)
NoSQL store (e.g. MongoDB)
Caching and in-memory data structures, agent memory, and semantic caching.
Cloud & operations
AWS preferred; Azure or GCP fine
Docker and CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions)
basic infrastructure-as-code.
OpenTelemetry
you-build-it-you-run-it mindset and an instinctive distrust of silent failures.
Required Qualifications
Computer Science Engineering (B.E or BTech) or higher (Tier 1 universities only).
2+ years of total experience, with a strong full-stack track record and prior
product experience.
1+ years building production systems with LLMs and/or real-time systems
Preferred Qualifications
Voice/real-time media (WebRTC, STT/TTS, sub-second latency, barge-in) or
other low-latency streaming experience.
LLM evaluation frameworks; multi-provider model routing, fallback, and
cost-per-request awareness.
Only those candidates will be considered who, have relevant skills and interests
can commit full time
Can show prior work and deployed projects
can start immediately
Please note that we will reach out to ONLY those applicants who satisfy the criteria listed above.
