Roles and Responsibility:
Inventory Management: Overseeing the procurement, storage, and management of raw materials needed for production.
Procurement: Sourcing raw materials from suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules.
Quality Control: Ensuring that all raw materials meet quality standards and specifications. This involves inspecting incoming materials and working closely with quality assurance teams.
Storage and Handling: Properly storing raw materials to prevent damage or spoilage. This may include maintaining appropriate inventory levels, organizing storage facilities, and implementing inventory control measures.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and supplier information. This may involve using inventory management software or other tracking systems.
Coordination with Production: Collaborating with production teams to ensure that raw materials are available as needed to support production schedules. This includes forecasting future raw material needs based on production plans.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards related to the handling and storage of raw materials.
Supplier Relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sources of raw materials and to address any issues that may arise.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement within the raw material management process and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Experience in Tally and SAP ERP.
- Experience in MS Office. (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Challenge-oriented work skills.
Education & Experience: Any Graduate or Post Graduate with experience in Chemical / Dyes & Intermediates manufacturing is preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
