Job Summary:
The Planning & Budgeting Officer will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, cost monitoring, scheduling, and coordination for high-rise construction projects. The role involves preparing project timelines, tracking project progress, controlling budgets, coordinating with site and design teams, and ensuring timely completion of projects within approved cost parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed project schedules and work plans for high-rise construction projects.
· Develop monthly, weekly, and daily work progress plans.
· Monitor project timelines and identify delays or risks.
· Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and contractors for smooth execution.
· Track project milestones and ensure work completion as per schedule.
· Prepare recovery plans for delayed activities.
· Prepare project budgets, BOQ analysis, and cost estimates.
· Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets.
· Analyze cost variations and recommend corrective actions.
· Maintain records of project costs, material consumption, and labor expenses.
· Assist management in forecasting project cash flow and financial planning.
· Coordinate with procurement and accounts departments for budget compliance.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
· Generate project progress reports and budget utilization reports.
· Maintain planning records, billing data, and project documentation.
· Present project status updates to management.
· Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors.
· Ensure proper allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.
· Support project execution teams in achieving project targets.
· Monitor productivity and resource utilization at project sites.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of construction planning and budgeting.
· Knowledge of high-rise building construction processes.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera (preferred), and AutoCAD basics.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong coordination and communication abilities.
· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
· Additional certification in Project Planning or Primavera will be preferred.
· Experience
· 5-10 years of experience in planning and budgeting for high-rise construction projects.
· Experience in construction or engineering companies preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
