Dispatch – Hospitality Industry
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch of food, beverages, and other hospitality-related items to customers or outlets.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders as per company standards and customer requirements.
- Verify order details, quantity, packaging, and dispatch documents before shipment.
- Coordinate with kitchen, store, operations, and delivery teams for smooth order processing.
- Track dispatched orders and follow up on delivery status.
- Maintain dispatch records, delivery challans, invoices, and related documentation.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues, delays, or customer complaints promptly.
- Monitor inventory movement and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards during dispatch.
- Communicate with vendors, delivery partners, and outlet managers regarding dispatch schedules.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
- Assist in optimizing dispatch routes and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products before dispatch.
- Maintain coordination with multiple outlets and central kitchen operations, if applicable.
- Follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to logistics and dispatch operations.
