Position: Trainee Engineer / Jr. Engineer (Heat Treatment )
Industry: Bearing Manufacturing / Automotive Components
Location: Rajkot, Gujarat

Shift: Rotational / General shift (as applicable)
Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers can apply)
Roles & Responsibilities: -
· Perform and supervise heat treatment processes such as Annealing, Normalizing, Hardening, Tempering, Carburizing, Nitriding, Induction Hardening, etc.
· Ensure adherence to heat treatment cycle parameters (temperature, soaking time, cooling rate).
· Monitor and maintain furnaces, quenching systems, and temperature control instruments.
· Interpret metallurgical specifications, drawings, and standards.
· Conduct and analyse hardness testing, microstructure evaluation, and mechanical test results.
· Maintain heat treatment records, charts, and documentation as per QMS requirements.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AMS / NADCAP (as applicable).
· Participate in internal, external, and customer audits.
· Handle non-conformances, root cause analysis, and CAPA related to heat treatment.
· Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
· Support process improvement, cost reduction, and rejection control initiatives.
· Ensure safety and environmental compliance in heat treatment operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Engineering
Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers can also apply)
Basic knowledge of heat treatment processes and metallurgy preferred
