Job description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Machine Operator with specific expertise in operating PET Preform moulding machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection moulding machines to produce high-quality PET preforms in accordance with production standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor PET Preform Injection Moulding Machines.
- Set up moulds, adjust machine parameters, and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for machines.
- Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of moulding machines and report complex issues.
- Maintain production logs and documentation as per company protocols.
- Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of machines and work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work closely with the quality team to ensure defect-free output.
- Minimize machine downtime and reduce material wastage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials (PET resin) and finished goods.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating PET Preform Injection Moulding Machines.
- Basic understanding of injection moulding processes, parameters, and mould changeovers.
- Technical knowledge of machinery such as Husky, Nissei ASB, Ferromatik, or similar PET preform machines (mention specific brands used if relevant).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production documents.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical or technical education preferred (ITI/Diploma).
Working Conditions:
- Factory environment with exposure to machinery noise and heat.
- May require shift work, including night shifts or weekends.
- Use of safety equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
