Job Objective
To lead the Spare Parts department by ensuring 100% availability of Maruti Genuine Parts (MGP) and Maruti Genuine Accessories (MGA) while maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing "Dead Stock," and achieving monthly revenue targets through counter sales and workshop issues.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Stock Optimization: Maintain the ideal stock mix to ensure a high "Fill Rate" for the workshop while preventing overstocking.
- Ordering: Analyze consumption patterns and place daily/weekly stock orders via the Maruti Suzuki DMS (Dealer Management System).
- VOR Management: Handle "Vehicle Off Road" (urgent) orders to ensure critical parts are procured in the shortest possible time.
- Stock Audits: Conduct monthly physical stock verification and reconcile differences to ensure zero variance.
2. Operational Excellence
- DMS Proficiency: Manage all inward and outward entries, billing, and inventory tracking through the Maruti Suzuki software.
- Warehouse Standards: Ensure the parts store follows 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for easy retrieval and safety.
- Warranty Management: Oversee the storage and timely return of "failed parts" to the company for warranty claims.
3. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Retail Sales: Drive "Counter Sales" of spare parts to local garages and retail customers.
- Upselling: Work with Service Advisors to promote the sale of value-added items like lubricants, car care products, and accessories.
- Target Achievement: Meet monthly KPIs for parts turnover, lubricant sales, and MGA (Accessories) penetration.
4. Team Leadership
- Supervise and train a team of Parts Executives, Store Keepers, and Picking staff.
- Coordinate closely with the Workshop Manager to align parts availability with the daily service load.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in any stream; Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Experience: 5–10 years in automobile spare parts management (preferably with a Maruti Suzuki dealership).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Maruti Suzuki part numbering systems and the DMS portal.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills (Excel proficiency), negotiation skills for vendor management, and a high level of integrity.
- Local Familiarity: Understanding of the Indore automobile market and local language (Hindi/Indori) for effective communication.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
