Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Civil Engineer to oversee and manage multiple construction sites across our CDB project areas. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and project management skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage multiple construction sites across CDB project areas.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities.
- Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and labour teams.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Prepare, review, and interpret construction drawings and technical plans.
- Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other basic design software.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), project estimates, quotations, and cost analyses.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage procurement planning and material usage to minimize delays and wastage.
- Identify project risks and implement effective solutions to maintain timelines.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, local regulations, and engineering standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction and site management.
- Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage labour, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of basic design and drafting software for plan preparation.
- Experience preparing BOQs, project estimates, quotations, and technical reports.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and project planning.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project documentation.
