Senior DevOps Engineer (GitLab & GitOps)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitLab, GitOps, and CI/CD practices. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable delivery pipelines, enabling efficient Release on Demand (RoD) processes, improving deployment reliability through automation, and ensuring operational visibility through modern monitoring and observability practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement and manage GitOps practices for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Define repository structures, version control strategies, and deployment workflows aligned with GitOps principles.
- Manage pipeline orchestration, scheduling mechanisms, and automated deployment processes.
- Support Release on Demand (RoD) initiatives to enable faster, controlled, and reliable production releases.
- Ensure secure management of configurations and deployment workflows.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational visibility using Datadog dashboards and pipeline logs.
- Improve deployment frequency, reduce failure rates, and enhance platform reliability through automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize CI/CD performance and stability.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance standards within CI/CD and GitOps environments.
- Support containerized application deployment workflows using Docker.
