Job Description – Accountant – Billing, Payout & Operations

About the Role
Super Finserv Private Limited is looking for a sincere, dependable and resilient Accountant to manage billing, payout reconciliation, accounting records and related financial activities.
This role requires someone who does not give up easily when a reconciliation is complicated, a payment is pending, or a discrepancy requires repeated follow-up. The candidate should take ownership of assigned work and ensure that matters are followed through to their logical conclusion.
The Accountant will also support the Operations Team in processing transactions during periods of higher workload.
Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Accounting
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers and accounting records.
- Record receipts, payments, expenses and other day-to-day financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain records of receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with the company’s Chartered Accountant and consultants for accounting and statutory requirements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
Payout & Commission Reconciliation
- Maintain accurate records of commissions and payouts receivable from mutual fund houses, insurance companies and other business partners.
- Reconcile payout statements with internal business records.
- Identify short payments, missing payouts, discrepancies and outstanding amounts.
- Follow up persistently with the concerned teams or business partners until discrepancies are resolved.
- Maintain proper records of all pending payout matters and their current status.
- Prepare periodic reconciliation and payout reports for management.
- Ensure that unresolved matters are not overlooked or left incomplete.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic MIS relating to billing, collections, payouts, receivables and pending matters.
- Maintain accurate Excel-based reports and reconciliations.
- Provide management with financial and payout information whenever required.
- Maintain appropriate trackers for pending payments, discrepancies and follow-ups.
Operations Support
- Support the Operations Team during periods of high transaction volume.
- Assist in transaction processing, data entry, verification, documentation and reconciliation when required.
- Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within timelines.
- Assist in resolving transaction-related payment or accounting discrepancies.
- Provide dependable backup support when workload increases or team members are unavailable.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Tally or similar accounting software.
- Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to maintain systematic records and documentation.
- Ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external business partners.
- Ability to handle routine work consistently without losing accuracy.
- Responsible approach towards confidential financial and customer information.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounts or Finance.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and basic taxation will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in financial services, insurance, mutual funds, banking or NBFC operations will have an advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Fresh candidates with strong accounting fundamentals, good Excel skills and the right attitude may also be considered.
