Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Faculty to train and mentor students in culinary arts. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training, ensuring students gain hands-on experience in cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct practical and theory classes in cooking and kitchen management.
- Train students in Indian, South Indian, and basic international cuisines.
- Demonstrate food preparation, presentation, and plating techniques.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Teach hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Plan lesson schedules and prepare training materials.
- Monitor student performance and provide feedback.
- Assist students in internships and placement support.
- Maintain discipline and safety in the training kitchen.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Good teaching and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Creativity in food presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology, or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen or teaching role
