Designation: Sr. Account Executive

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Sr. Account Executive with 2-3 years of experience in PR, media relations, or journalism. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the Indian media landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver impactful media outcomes while managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media professionals across print, digital, television, and online platforms.
- Identify and pitch stories, interviews, opinion pieces, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, opinion articles, briefing notes, Q&As, and other communication materials.
- Coordinate media interactions, interviews, press briefings, and other media engagements.
- Manage day-to-day client servicing and collaborate with clients and internal teams to execute communication campaigns.
- Monitor media coverage, maintain media databases, and prepare coverage reports.
- Track industry trends, news developments, and competitor activity to identify media opportunities.
- Support reputation management and crisis communication mandates, as required.
- Manage multiple client accounts while ensuring timely execution and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Comm., PR, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in public relations, media relations, journalism, or corporate communications.
- Prior experience with a PR agency, corporate communications team, or media organization is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Indian media ecosystem.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with media monitoring and database tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in journalism or editorial roles is an advantage.
- Existing relationships with journalists across business, legal, corporate, and mainstream media will be an added advantage.
- Passion for storytelling, media engagement, and strategic communications.
