Job Title: Fashion Designing Teacher
Location: Chennai
Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Fashion Designing Teacher to inspire and educate students in the fundamentals of fashion, design techniques, and industry trends. The ideal candidate should be skilled in both practical and theoretical aspects of fashion design and capable of delivering engaging classroom sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive lessons on fashion design, illustration, textiles, and garment construction.
- Teach basic to advanced concepts including sketching, color theory, fabric knowledge, and pattern making.
- Guide students in developing their creativity, design thinking, and portfolio work.
- Organize workshops, exhibitions, and fashion shows within the school.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and incorporate them into teaching.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Designing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of fashion illustration, textiles, and garment construction.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop is a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
