Roles & Responsibilities (JD)
- Strategic Procurement: Source and negotiate pricing for construction materials (steel, cement, aggregates), heavy machinery, and sub-contractor services.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers; evaluate vendors based on quality, delivery time, and cost.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor material budgets against project estimates, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: Ensure a steady supply of materials to active project sites to prevent delays; manage on-site material reconciliation.
- Compliance & Contracting: Draft, review, and negotiate supply contracts, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company standards.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience: Typically 5 to 15+ years in construction procurement or supply chain.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of construction materials, proficiency in ERP/SAP software, and strong project management capabilities.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and crisis management skills
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
