- Assess manpower requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with project managers to forecast labor needs.
- Prepare workforce deployment plans.
2. Recruitment and Selection
- Recruit engineers, supervisors, operators, skilled and unskilled labor, surveyors, accountants, and support staff.
- Coordinate interviews, trade tests, and selection processes.
- Manage onboarding and induction of new employees.
3. Employee Documentation
- Maintain personnel files and employee records.
- Prepare appointment letters, employment contracts, transfer orders, and confirmation letters.
- Maintain attendance and leave records.
4. Payroll and Benefits
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing.
- Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
- Administer statutory benefits such as:
- EPF
- ESIC
- Bonus
- Gratuity
- Leave encashment
5. Compliance with Labour Laws
Ensure compliance with applicable laws such as:
- Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act

6. Contractor Labour Management
- Verify contractor manpower.
- Ensure statutory compliance by contractors.
- Monitor wage payments.
- Verify labor licenses and registrations.

- Organize induction programs.
- Conduct safety training in coordination with the HSE department.
- Arrange technical and behavioral training.
- Maintain training records.
8. Performance Management
- Implement employee appraisal systems.
- Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate promotions and increments.
- Identify training needs.
9. Employee Relations
- Resolve employee grievances.
- Handle disciplinary matters.

- Track absenteeism.
12. Site HR Management
- Visit project sites regularly.
- Address workforce issues.
- Coordinate accommodations and transportation where required.
- Maintain site-level HR records.
13. Exit Management
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Process full and final settlements.
- Recover company assets.
