The Hospital Administrator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily administrative operations of the hospital. The role involves managing patient services, coordinating with departments, maintaining records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, and supporting the smooth functioning of healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day hospital administrative activities.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle patient registration, admission, discharge, and billing processes.
- Maintain hospital records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and address complaints or concerns.
- Assist in staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and administrative support.
- Coordinate insurance, TPA, and claim-related processes.
- Prepare operational reports and MIS reports for management.
- Support hospital accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with procurement teams when required.
