Direction Classes is a premium learning institute offering IGCSE, AS & A Level, and IBDP programs. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Biology educator who can inspire students and help them achieve top scores in the IB Diploma Programme.
Key Responsibilities
Teach IBDP Biology HL & SL according to the latest IB curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons.
Develop students' conceptual understanding and scientific thinking skills.
Prepare students for Internal Assessments (IA), practical work, and examinations.
Conduct regular assessments, mock exams, and provide constructive feedback.
Track student progress and communicate with parents when required.
Create worksheets, question banks, revision materials, and test papers.
Guide students in exam strategies, data analysis, and extended response questions.
Collaborate with the academic team to ensure high-quality teaching standards.
Eligibility
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related fields.
Candidates with B.Sc., M.Sc., MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Biotechnology, or Life Science backgrounds are welcome.
Prior experience teaching IBDP Biology HL/SL is preferred.
Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle practical and application-based learning.
Preferred Qualifications
IB Category Training in Biology.
Experience teaching international curricula such as IBDP, IGCSE, or A Levels.
Familiarity with Internal Assessment (IA) requirements and IB assessment criteria.
Skills Required
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong classroom management and mentoring abilities.
Proficiency in digital teaching tools and hybrid learning environments.
